Professional Background
David S. Koziak joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2006 to help manage its new Nashville, Tennessee office. As principal, Mr. Koziak helps ensure the growth and success of the Tennessee market. Specializing in tenant representation, he has extensive expertise in office and industrial transaction work, construction and development projects, title insurance, closing experience and landlord representation.
Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Koziak was a director of office leasing for Grubb & Ellis Centennial, by whom he was recognized annually as a member of their national “Circle of Excellence,” an honor reserved for top-performing transaction services professionals.
Mr. Koziak’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, such as Bridgestone/Firestone USA, United Parcel Services, Alcoa, Horne CPA Group, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Comcast Spotlight, Mephisto USA, Gabriel Ride Products, Trane Company, Podiatry Insurance Company of America (PICA), State of Tennessee, Cummins/Fleetguard, First American Bank, Nextel Communications, National Federation of Independent Business and Tennessee Medical Foundation.

Mr. Koziak has been awarded the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) upon completing a graduate-level curriculum and attaining a level of qualifying experience. He is also a member of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and has served as public relations chairman for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals).

Mr. Koziak has been on the board of directors for several charitable organizations, including the Open Arms Care Foundation, Mary, Queen of Angels and the Tennessee Medical Foundation Endowment Fund.
